Bells Elementary was built in 1985 in Bells, Tennessee. We are a PreK-5 school with 438 students and 55 staff members. Mr. Charles Williams is the director, Mrs. Elaine Clement is the principal.

School Beliefs

1. We believe that all students should have safe environments where they are expected to follow the rules, and the administration and staff are allowed to enforce the rules.

2. We believe that all students should have the opportunity to progress academically to his or her fullest potential.

3. We believe that teachers should be committed to their jobs and dedicated to providing the best possible education for students.

4. We believe that all students should accept responsibility for their behavior and academic progress.

5. We believe that all students should master fundamental skills and knowledge that will foster lifelong learning

6. We believe that all students should believe that learning is their chief priority for the school.

7. We believe that teachers should clearly communicate learning expectations to students and actively monitor student performance to ensure attainment of objectives.

8. We believe that teachers should use state test data to identify high priority students and to align curriculum to ensure that all children are successful learners.

9. We believe that teachers, administrators, and school board should periodically review curriculum and policies to ensure students are progressing and successfully meeting system goals.

10. We believe that teachers, administrators, students, parents, and the community share responsibility for the support of the school's mission.

11. We believe that support services and resources should be provided to ensure highly qualified administrators, teachers, and support staff.

12. We believe that conferencing with parents should include assessment results, planning and goal setting.
